These Terms of Use govern access to our website and provide general conditions relating to accommodation reservations, guided fly-fishing experiences, courses and other services offered by Revúca Lodge.

2. Website Use

Visitors may use this website for personal, lawful purposes, including exploring accommodation options, requesting information and booking available services.

Users agree not to interfere with the website's operation, attempt unauthorised access or use website content for unlawful or misleading purposes.

3. Accommodation Reservations

Revúca Lodge offers private holiday accommodation, subject to availability.

Where instant booking is available, a reservation becomes binding when the booking system confirms acceptance and the guest receives booking confirmation.

Where a booking request is submitted, the request alone does not constitute a confirmed reservation. Confirmation is provided separately by Revúca Lodge.

Accommodation details, maximum occupancy, included facilities, check-in and check-out times, and applicable house rules will be communicated before booking confirmation.

4. Prices and Payments

All prices are displayed in euros (EUR), unless otherwise stated.

The total price, applicable taxes, mandatory fees, deposit requirements and payment schedule will be communicated before the guest confirms a reservation.

Any optional services, including guided fishing, equipment rental, additional transport or special packages, will be priced separately unless expressly included.

Payments may be processed through authorised third-party payment providers.

5. Cancellations and Refunds

The cancellation and refund conditions applicable to a reservation will be displayed during the booking process or specified in the written offer and booking confirmation.

Any cancellation fees, non-refundable amounts and refund deadlines must be clearly disclosed before a booking becomes binding.

Where mandatory consumer protection legislation provides additional rights, those rights will remain unaffected.

Accommodation booked for specific dates and certain date-specific leisure services may be exempt from the standard 14-day withdrawal right under applicable consumer legislation.

6. Guest Responsibilities

Guests agree to:

• Respect the property, furnishings and equipment.

• Comply with the maximum permitted occupancy.

• Observe applicable house rules and local regulations.

• Report damage or maintenance issues promptly.

• Treat neighbouring properties and the surrounding environment respectfully.

• Take reasonable precautions for their personal safety and belongings.

Guests may be held responsible for damage caused intentionally or negligently, subject to applicable law.

7. Guided Fishing and Outdoor Activities

Revúca Lodge may organise guided fly-fishing trips, courses and other outdoor experiences.

Fishing activities depend on weather, water levels, seasonal restrictions, fishing regulations, licence availability and safety conditions.

Participants must comply with applicable Slovak fishing laws, permit requirements and instructions provided by authorised guides.

Unless explicitly included in the booking, fishing licences, equipment, transport, meals and personal insurance are not included.

We encourage responsible fishing practices, conservation and catch-and-release principles wherever appropriate.

No guarantee is given regarding the number, size or species of fish caught.

8. Changes to Outdoor Activities

For safety, environmental or regulatory reasons, Revúca Lodge may need to change the location, timing or content of a planned fishing activity.

Where an agreed service cannot be provided, we will offer an appropriate alternative or handle any refund or other remedy in accordance with the booking agreement and applicable law.

9. Health and Safety

Guests participating in outdoor activities should assess their physical capabilities and inform us of relevant accessibility or safety requirements where necessary.

Fishing, wading and outdoor activities involve inherent risks, including slippery surfaces, variable water conditions and changing weather.

Participants are expected to follow reasonable safety instructions.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where such exclusion or limitation is prohibited by applicable law.

10. Website Information and Availability

We make reasonable efforts to keep information, photographs, descriptions, prices and availability accurate.

However, website content may occasionally contain errors or become outdated.

We reserve the right to correct inaccuracies, subject to existing contractual obligations and applicable consumer rights.

11. Intellectual Property

The version applicable to a reservation will be the version provided or made available when the booking was concluded.
